Zoo trip!

Today, we have had a fantastic day at the zoo and even managed to get behind the scenes at the rhino enclosure! We learnt all about a day in the life of a zoo keeper and were able to help the keepers by writing the rhino's names onto bags for their dung collection!

Enjoy looking at our photos'

UCEA visit to school

Last week, we were really lucky to have Mr McDermott from UCEA to come into
school to talk to us about moving to high school. We had lots of questions for him and all felt much better about our move into Year 7 after his visit!

Stars of the week

Well done to our 2 stars this week...

Harriet for her excellent attitude and effort in her writing. I have seen a huge improvement and am really proud!

Leah for bringing in so many books for us to look at that are written by our author of the month, Enid Blyton

Also well done to Jack who received a head teachers award for an excellent y attitude this week!

Keep it up Year 6!!!!!

Anthem for the Port

After school in Friday, year 6 went to perform the song we learnt with the Fireflies ladies choir and Ellesmere Port Male voice choir. We were performing alongside The Oaks and Westminster for a celebration of 100 years of the hospital in Ellesmere Port.

We sang amazingly-Miss Ogden and Mrs Webb were very proud!!!

Fishy Friday!!

Year 6 want to say a massive thanks to our kitchen who gave us a lot of fish fingers that were left over 😃

We all enjoyed munching on them whilst we watched Newsround!!!
