Maths workshop

This week we have been really lucky to have a Maths workshop led by Explore Learning. We took on the role of game designer for the session and had to use our knowledge of 3D shapes and nets to construct our own console; Miss Ogden really enjoyed the idea of a tea dispenser on her console! 

Making lunch!

Today, we had the chance to make lunch for the school with Miss Bantang who works for Eric Wright (who provide our school meals). We had a fantastic morning making cheesy jackets and sausages in pastry; we created pigs that proved very popular! 

Art outside!

Today we managed to get outside with the iPads to do some hunting for patterns in nature that we are going to use to create our own printing blocks. We couldn't believe how warm it was in January! Keep checking back to see how our work progresses.
