Today we investigated with electrical equipment to make circuits. We then used symbols to draw the circuits. 

Danger point!

Last week we went on a class trip to Dangerpoint in North Wales. We completed lots of activities and quizzes to help us understand how to keep ourselves safe. The areas we covered included: 

Cyber bullying

Electricity

Safety in the home

Anti bullying

Train and bus safety

Water safety 

Road safety. 

We had a quiz when we arrived and scored 48%... our score increased to 97% at the end of our visit!

Following our trip we made comic strips to show how to stay safe.  

Citizenship

This week we have been learning about the way Britain treats people equally. We learnt all about the Equality Act and the protective characteristics. It was very interesting to discuss what is happening in America and think about our own opinion on this.

Meet our new bank managers!

As we have been working hard at spending our class budget, Miss Ogden decided to give us a challenge of looking at how banks manage our money. We've learnt all about overdrafts and how banks  earn interest. Here we are keeping an eye on our customers!
