Trip to Ruthin Gaol

Last week we visited Ruthin Gaol. We learnt so many new facts and found out about how the prisoners were treated. After being put in the dark cell, turning the crank and hearing about a hanging that took place, we were relieved that we are all law abiding!

Collage

As part of our topic this term we have looked at a range of collages. Our first attempt are these colour wheel collages. We used a variety of materials such as newspapers and tissue papers and investigated different ways to rip and tear.
