For homework
over the holidays, I would like you to create something to share during our
Monday assembly related to our discussions about IDAHO , mutual respect and
equality for all. This could be a poster, powerpoint a factsheet or any of the
other great ideas you came up with in class.
You may want
to think about why this day is important or how to deal with HBT (Homophobic,
Biphobic and Transphobic bullying). Why is equality important? These are all
things we have discussed in class and you all had so many ideas!
I also
wondered if you were able to explain to an adult or older brother or sister at
home what you have learnt about equality and LGBTQ.
These need
to be brought in the first day back so that we can share them in assembly.
Some of the work that was produced was fantastic and Year 6 led an assembly for the rest of KS2!
